Computer Lighting Calculations for Exterior Spaces

This two-day program is designed for architects, engineers, and lighting designers interested in the use of computer software to perform exterior lighting calculations. This program is registered for 14 AIA Learning Units, 14 PDHs with NCEES, and qualifies for 14 NCQLP Lighting Education Units.

Description :

Generic elements for exterior computer lighting software programs will be reviewed. The methodology for establishing lighting quantity and quality for exterior projects such as parking lots and roadways will be presented. Instruction in the use of a computer lighting calculation program to determine compliance with criteria will be discussed and practiced by the participant. Computers will be available for each individual to practice using the software on. (You may bring and use your own laptop.)

All sessions are held at the Light & Vision Center at Holophane in Granville, Ohio.

 

Monday

Arrive no later than 4:00 PM, November 17. Reception and dinner

 

Tuesday

Full-day session and dinner.

 

Wednesday Full-day session until 4:00 PM.
