Industrial Lighting Seminar

A 2˝-day program designed for owners, architects, engineers, lighting consultants and others involved with selection of industrial lighting products. This program is registered for 6.5 Learning Units (HSW) with AIA, 6.5 PDHs with NCEES, and qualifies for 6.5 NCQLP Lighting Education Units.

Description :

Overview of lighting technology with detailed discussions of lighting by application.

Each attendee will receive a copy of IES’s RP-7-01, Recommend Practice for Lighting Industrial Facilities.

Guest Speaker :

Dr. Craig Bernecker, LC, is a past president and “fellow” of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and former director of the lighting program in the Department of Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. He is now the principal of the Lighting Education Institute, a private firm specializing in lighting consulting and education.

Dr. Bernecker is a frequent and popular speaker at Lightfair and the IES Annual Conference on topics ranging from photometry to color to indoor and outdoor lighting applications of all kinds. Dr. Bernecker’s presentation at this seminar will be on “Metal Halide vs. Fluorescent for Industrial Spaces.”

All sessions are held at the Light & Vision Center at Holophane in Granville, Ohio.

Arrive no later than 4:00 PM, August 18. Reception and dinner.

 

Tuesday

Full day session and dinner.

 

Wednesday Session until 4:00 PM.
