Intended Use: Gymnasiums, Racquetball Courts, Multi-Purpose Facilities Certain airborne contaminants can diminish the integrity of acrylic. Please refer to the Acrylic Environmental Compatibility Chart (HL-2445) for suitable uses. Features: The reflector is manufactured from Miro® premium specular material and designed to maximize fixture efficiency. The 6.0” deep fixture is available with a choice of flush aluminum door equipped with spring loaded cam latches, regressed aluminum door equipped with spring loaded cam Latches, or with a flush steel door and rotary cam latches. To obtain optimum performance out of the thermally sensitive biax lamps, the luminaire is self-ventilated by natural convection through the strategically located air slots. In addition, ballasts are mounted in separate compartments away from lamps. Easy wiring and service are provided by the top-mounted quick access wiring plate, and by the removable ballast cover, which is secured by quarter-turn fasteners that are strategically located behind lamps. HOUSING: Cold rolled, pre-painted steel housing is rigid and fully assembled with rivets.
OPTICS: Reflector material is Miro4® enhanced specular aluminum with a total reflectivity of 95% A variety of acrylic lens types are available. Clear polycarbonate lens also available.
MOUNTING: The BG series fixture is suitable for mounting in NEMA type G ceiling systems. Flange option available for non-grid ceiling types. Listings: C/UL/US
