Intended Use: Predator® is ideal for many outdoor and indoor floodlighting applications such as bridges, paper mills, power plants, petrochemical facilities, water and waste water treatment plants, lighting building facades, parking lots, perimeters and secure areas.

Features: Construction: Housing and door of low copper content die cast aluminum alloy for excellent base corrosion protection. External fasteners are stainless steel. IP66 rated for high pressure spray hose down applications. Removable door contains all ballast components and includes electrical quick disconnects. Hollow core high temperature silicon gasket between door and housing maintains seal for extended service life.

Finish: Electrostatically applied polyester powder coat finish to withstand a 160 inch-pound impact Gardner impact test, pass 1000 hour salt spray per ASTM B117 and adhesion bend test per ASTM D522. Optical System: Reflector shall be anodized aluminum alloy producing wide, narrow and spot distributions. The reflector design eliminates bright streaks and provides uniform illumination and low surface brightness. The door mounted lens is tempered glass.

Electrical System: Holophane manufactured high power factor, copper wound ballast that provides full rated wattage to the lamp. Reliable starting to -40° F. Starter for HPS lamps is fully encapsulated. A protected starter is available that senses an inoperative or missing lamp and automatically removes itself from the circuit, preventing damage to the ballast. All ballast components are mounted to the removable door assembly with quick disconnects for ease of maintenance. Lamp support is porcelain enclosed socket with nickel plated lamp grip screw shell. Installation: Knuckle fitter for 2” or 4” vertical mounting, box mount, zinc plated or stainless steel yoke.
